Our project depends critically on the skills of pilot Don E. Glaser and his plane, which is a Piper Supercub.

Two people (a pilot and one passenger) can ride in the Supercub.

From the Supercub, we count and observe the wolves and moose of Isle Royale during winter.
Each morning before we fly, we must warm the plane up with a propane heater on a toboggan, known as a "red dragon."
